Refunds are not provided for any reason.
We promise to do our best to provide an amazing looking and tasting product. Please keep in mind that no two pieces of art are ever exactly alike, and we cannot guarantee replication of a design.
Once an item has been recieved by you or your designated party, and leaves our hands, it is considered "Accepted".
We require a detailed order form, including cake design description, to be approved and signed no later than one week prior to your event. Changes to design or flavour or an increase in size must be made no later than one week in advance. Once the form has been submitted, you may not decrease the size of your order. Cancellation of the total order less than 1 week prior to delivery date/time indicated on the order form will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total cost. Cancellation within 72 hours of the date/delivery time, 100% of the total will be charged.
In the event that we have made a major design error (flowers instead of trains for example) and you alert us at time of delivery, every effort will be made to rectify the error. If we cannot correct our mistake before your event, you can choose not to accept the item and payment will not be due. It takes us very disappointed to make mistakes, and we would never knowingly upset a client. Please remember though that we are human, and minor mistakes do occasionally occur.
We are not responsible for any damage which occurs after your cake/sweets have been received by you. We will advise you on the best method to transport and store your item(s). Errors in following these instructions cannot be our responsibility.
Cake flavour and texture is subjective. Our cakes are baked from scratch with all natural ingredients and no preservatives, and need to be kept out at room temperature for at least 4-6 hours prior to serving. If you are unhappy with the flavour or texture of your cake/sweets, you may qualify for a credit if the majority of the cake (no less than 3/4 of the uneaten product) is brought back to us within 24 hrs., and the quality is deemed unacceptable by Sugar Sweet Cake Co. Please note that we test our products daily to ensure quality, but cannot control temperature, humidity, and storage once a sweet has left the studio, which may impact the flavour and texture of a product.
